 | Our two schools are conveniently located in the Centre of Patong Beach and Surin Beach, Phuket. Our Phuket Language School offers students a relaxed atmosphere in which to concentrate on the task of learning a new language.
The language school staff are fully accredited teachers with many years of experience teaching Thai to foreigners. The courses are structured around students' existing knowledge and wishes, and the school offers both morning and afternoon classes for your convenience. The usual study time at our Phuket Language School is two lessons per week, with each lesson being two hours long.
Our school offers three levels of Thai language study: Basic Thai, Intermediate Thai, and Advanced Thai. Each course is one year long and totals 200 hours of class time. This program of study is in accordance with the Thai Ministry of Education's requirements for issuing 1 year Non-Immigrant ED Visas (student visas).
Our school is licensed by the Ministry of Education (Phuket Education office). A culture project by the Ministry now allows for the issuance of education visas for foreigners who wish to study the Thai language. The visas can be extended for as long as you are in the program. One particularly nice feature of ED visas is that they do not require the holder to exit the Kingdom to do "visa runs", as is common with many other types of visas.
